§ 19-2. Authority of engineer over highway department employees.

The parish engineer is authorized to establish job responsibilities and assignments for highway department employees as required. His responsibility includes the hiring or terminating employees as required and shall also include the establishment of pay rates for each employee as he sees fit based upon each employees' job assignment, experience and ability.
