§ 19-5. Obstructing roads generally.

  • (a)

    Prohibited. No road in this parish shall be obstructed, changed or closed by any person placing therein or across it, any wood, brush, log or logs, whole or broken nails, broken vehicle of any kind, or any other article or thing of any character or description whatever, which will obstruct said public road.

    (b)

    Penalty. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be prosecuted by the district attorney and on conviction fined not less than ten dollars ($10.00) and not more than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) or imprisoned not more than thirty (30) days, or both, at the discretion of the court.
