§ 19-9. Damaging bridge signs, guide posts, mile boards.

Any person or persons taking or knocking down a bridge sign, guide post or mile board shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction of same by a court of competent authority, shall be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) or more than seventy-five dollars ($75.00) or not less than thirty (30) days nor over fifty (50) days work on the public roads of Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. Any person or persons reporting anybody for any of the above violations, shall upon conviction, be given a reward of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) out of the public road funds and everything arising in the way of money shall be placed to the credit of the road funds.
