§ 19-28. Responsibility for maintenance determined.

The police jury has determined that the use of cattle gaps across parish roads and highways exists and are maintained primarily for the benefit of persons owning lands or property and running cattle thereon situated adjacent to such highways and accordingly, the maintenance and upkeep of such cattle gaps is and should be the responsibility of the persons so involved.
