§ 1-193. Personnel files.

The personnel director shall maintain the official personnel files for all parish employees. Unless otherwise provided by law, personnel files and information shall be confidential and may not be used or divulged for purposes unconnected with the parish personnel management system, except with the permission of the employees involved. Nothing herein shall prevent the dissemination of impersonal statistical information. An employee shall have a right of reasonable inspection of his or her official personnel file.
