The Police Jury of Ouachita Parish maintains the ultimate right to establish policies governing its work forces, including
the determination of methods and procedures, size of the working force, assignment of duties, hours of employment, compensation
of personnel, employment, discipline, promotion, transfer, and the right to relieve employees from duty because of lack of
work or other legitimate reasons.
