§ 1-82. Medical examination.

(a)

To make certain that job applicants are physically able to perform the duties of the jobs for which they apply, a physical examination may be required. Examinations for positions requiring strenuous work, especially heavy lifting, shall include a lower back X-ray.

(b)

The police jury will select the physician to administer the examination. The cost of all such physical examinations shall be borne by the police jury.
