An employee who is enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university which degree program is reasonably
related in the discretion of the Ouachita Parish Police Jury, to the job duties performed by that employee, then the Ouachita
Parish Police Jury shall reimburse to that employee upon satisfactory completion of the course, i.e., with a grade average
of "C" or better, the actual tuition paid to the college or university and the cost of any books purchased under the approved
courses, provided that said employee execute an agreement that said employee will reimburse to the Ouachita Parish Police
Jury, all amounts paid under the terms of this article, if the employee does not satisfactorily complete two (2) years of
service after obtaining from the college or university the degree under the program for which tuition has been reimbursed
as set forth above.
