Ord. No. 8095, adopted September 21, 1987, has been treated as superseding the provisions of §§ 2-1, 2-2, 2-12—2-37, 2-48—2-76, and 2-140—2-154, with §§ 2-1—2-29. Former §§ 2-1 and 2-2 were concerned with closing hours and warning sign, and derived from Ord. No. 7147, §§ 1—4, adopted March 19, 1963; and Ord.
No. 8006, adopted March 3, 1986, respectively. Former Art. II, §§ 2-12—2-37, was concerned with low alcoholic content beverages. Former Art. III, §§ 2-48—2-76, was concerned with high alcoholic
content beverages, and former Art. VIII, §§ 2-140—2-154 was concerned with bottle clubs. The aforementioned provisions derived from the following legislation:
