§ 20-115. Created; boundaries.

  • There is hereby created a road lighting district, which shall be known as "Road Lighting District No. Two of the Parish of Ouachita", lying within this parish and more particularly described as follows:

    Beginning at a point on the high bank of Bayou DeSiard at the southwest corner of Bayou Oaks Additions No. 1 and 2, as per plat in Plat Book 8, page 45, and Plat Book 10, page 43, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, as a point of beginning; thence in a northerly direction along the east high bank of Bayou DeSiard to a point represented by a projection of the southerly line of Lot 3 of the Nolan Survey, as per plat in Plat Book 9, page 2 (property now owned by J. C. Liner, III); thence in an easterly direction along the southern line of Lot 3 of the Nolan Survey to where said line intersects the westerly line of lake; thence along the west line of said lake and a projection of said west line to the center of another lake; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of the second lake to a line represented by the projection of the westerly right-of-way line of a ditch running from Lakewoods Drive in a northerly direction, said ditch being shown on plat of Lakewood Estates Unit No. 1; thence in a southerly direction along the projection of said right-of-way line to said ditch, and thence continuing along the westerly right-of-way line of said ditch to the southerly line of Lakewoods Estates Unit No. 1; thence in a westerly direction along the southern exterior line of Lakewoods Estates Unit No. 1 to the westerly right-of-way line of the Parish Drainage Canal; thence in a southerly direction along the westerly right-of-way line of said drainage canal to the southerly line of said Bayou Oaks Addition No. 1 and 2; thence along the south line of said Bayou Oaks Additions No. 1 and 2 to the place of beginning, all as shown on plat annexed hereto, prepared by Lester High, Civil Engineer, dated February, 1962.
