§ 20-119. Created; named; boundaries.

There is hereby created a road lighting district, which shall be known as "Road Lighting District No. 3, of the Parish of Ouachita", lying within this parish and more particularly described as follows:

TRACT 1

Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 8 of Block 3 of the re-subdivision of Lots 1 through 8 of Block 3 of Unit No. 1 of Forest Homes Addition, Monroe, Louisiana, as recorded in Plat Book 9, Page 36 of the records of Ouachita Parish; run Northerly along the line dividing Sections 43 and 44, Township 18 North, Range 4 East a distance of 2,030.42 feet to a point; thence turning a deflection angle of 90° 00′ Right, run Easterly 330 feet to a point, thence turning a deflection angle of 90° 00′ Right, run Southerly parallel to Section line common to Sections 43 and 44, Township 18 North, Range 4 East to the North line of Lot 5 of Block 3 of the re-subdivision of Lots 1 through 8 of Block 3 of Unit No. 1 of Forest Homes Addition; thence Westerly along the Northerly line of Lots 5 through 8 of said subdivision a distance of 330 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.

TRACT 2

A certain tract of land situated in Section 8, 9, 42 and 43, Township 18 North, Range 3 East, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, being described as follows:

For a POINT OF BEGINNING commence at a corner common to Section 8, 9 and 42 and proceed Northerly along the West side of Section 9 for a distance of 1,607 feet, more or less; to the Northerly boundary of property to be subdivided as Town and Country Subdivision Extensions; thence turn a right deflection angle of 89° 53′ and run for a distance of 880 feet, more or less; thence turn a left deflection angle of 89° 53′ and run for a distance of 465 feet, more or less; to the South right-of-way line of Fink's Hide-a-way Road; thence run Easterly along the right-of-way of said road 350 feet, more or less; thence turn a right deflection angle of 90° 07′ and run for a distance of 465 feet, more or less; thence turn a left deflection angle of 90° 07′ and run for a distance of 34.79 feet, more or less; to the West right-of-way line of A&LM Railroad; thence South 17° 33′ West along the West right-of-way of said Railroad for a distance of 1,788.09 feet, more or less; to the line between Sections 9 and 42; thence continuing along the Railroad right-of-way a distance of 1,950 feet, more or less; to the Northern bank of Chauvin Bayou; thence Westerly along the Northern bank of said Chauvin Bayou, a distance of 1,440 feet, more or less; to the Eastern right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 165, thence Northerly along said highway right-of-way a distance of 1,450 feet, more or less; to a point on the prolongation of the line between Sections 42 and 8; and thence Easterly along the prolongation of the line between Sections 42 and 8 a distance of 853 feet, more or less; to the POINT OF BEGINNING.

TRACT 3

All of Unit No. 13, Town and Country Subdivision in Sections 9 and 42, Township 18 North, Range 4 East, recorded in Plat Book 12, Page 99 of the records of Ouachita Parish; excluding Lots No. 1, 2, 38 and 39. All of Tracts 1, 2 and 3 being located in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana.
