§ 20-128.3. Declared political subdivision; powers.

The road lighting district herein created shall be a political and legal subdivision of the State of Louisiana, with full power to sue and be sued in its corporate name, and which shall have the authority to enter into contracts with any public utility to provide and maintain electric lights on the streets, highways, alleys and public places of such district.
