§ 20-233. Declared political subdivision; powers of subdivision conferred.

The waterworks district herein created shall be a subdivision of the state and as such may issue bonds and levy taxes and assessments in accordance with the provisions of Section 14 of Article XIV of the Constitution of 1921, as amended from time to time, and applicable statutes of the State of Louisiana.
