§ 20-249. Name; legal status; powers.

Said industrial district hereby created shall be known and is hereby designated as "West Ouachita Industrial District of the Parish of Ouachita, State of Louisiana" and as thus created shall constitute a political and legal subdivision of the State of Louisiana, with full power to sue and be sued in its corporate name, to incur debt and contract obligations and to perform all acts in its corporate capacity and in its corporate name necessary and proper to carry out its purposes, including the issuance of bonds or other evidences of indebtedness as may be permitted by the constitution and laws of the state.
