§ 21-122. Alteration of wetlands.

No area of Ouachita Parish which has been classified as a "wetland" by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the United States Department of the Interior, or other agency of the federal government shall be dredged, filled, cleared, graded or otherwise altered in any way, until or unless written evidence is furnished to the Ouachita Parish Police Jury which shows that all applicable federal and state permits and certifications have been obtained by the developer prior to the start of construction. Copies of all such permits and certifications shall be forwarded to the Ouachita Parish Police Jury by the developer at the time an application for a development permit is submitted.
