§ 23-32. Annual budget.

The commission shall annually submit to the governing authority of the Parish of Ouachita a budget for its operation during the ensuing year, and the governing authority of the Parish of Ouachita shall have the authority and right to approve or disapprove such budget. If the budget is disapproved, the commission shall revise the same and submit it again to the governing authority of the parish. Upon approval of the budget by the governing authority of the parish, the commission shall proceed to act thereunder.
