§ 23-33. Authority to borrow.

  • The commission may borrow money to pay its obligations that cannot be paid at maturity out of current revenues from tax authorized herein but shall not borrow a greater sum than can be repaid out of the revenues anticipated from the tax authorized herein during the year in which the money is borrowed, and provided that any loans made by [money borrowed by] the commission shall be subject to the approval of the governing authority of the parish.
