§ 3-15. Impoundment and fees.

In the event that the owner of livestock tethered, picketed or otherwise tied in violation of this division cannot be readily located or fails to immediately secure said livestock, then Ouachita Parish Animal Control may impound the animals. To recover an animal from impoundment pursuant to this section, the owner shall pay an impoundment fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) together with a boarding fee of five dollars ($5.00) for each day, or portion thereof, that the animal is impounded.
