§ 8-17. Definitions.

For the purposes of this article, the following terms, phrases and words shall have meaning as set forth:

Garbage. Putrescible animal and vegetable waste resulting from the handling, preparation, cooking and consumption of food; materials made from plastics; tin cans; and paper wrappings which have been used to package food.
