§ 15-10. Speed limit—Ouachita River north of Highway 2 Bridge at Sterlington.

(a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a motor boat or a vessel on that portion of the Ouachita River between the Louisiana Highway 2 Bridge at Sterlington, Louisiana, northward approximately one thousand five hundred (1,500) feet to the boat ramp, in excess of five (5) miles per hour or idle speed.
(b)
Any person or persons who violate the provisions of this section shall be fined by a sum not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00), or imprisoned for a term in a parish jail, not to exceed ten (10) days, or both.
