§ 15-21. Fundraising activities in or upon public roads.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to stand or stay on the road surface of any public road in the unincorporated area of Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, for the purpose of soliciting contributions or purchases from motorists in vehicles stopped at intersections.

    (b)

    The prohibition set forth above shall not apply to activities by persons of the age of majority soliciting contributions or sales for charitable organizations.

    (c)

    Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall be subject to a fine not to exceed two hundred dollars ($200.00).
