§ 17-52. Budget and expenditures of committee.

Such committee is authorized to prepare an annual budget based on the special tax collected or to be collected, and to present such budget to the Ouachita Parish Police Jury for approval, prior to January first of each year; and, provided further that upon approval of such budget by the police jury, the committee shall have the authority to request the treasurer of the parish to make payments in accord with such budgetary items; and, the treasurer of the parish is authorized to make such payments when approved in writing by the chairman of the committee.
