§ 1-113. Workmen's compensation.

As required by law, the police jury pays the premiums for workmen's compensation insurance. This insurance pays the medical expenses which are the result of work-related injuries. It also provides for partial reimbursement of salary lost as a result of a work-incurred disability (see "Disability", section 1-135).
