§ 1-154. Dress.
(a)
The police jury reserves the right to prescribe appropriate dress and grooming, and to set standards in the best interest of the parish.
(b)
The clothing and overall appearance of employees must be in good taste. Generally, office workers should avoid extreme fashion. Employees who work around machinery and equipment shall observe sound safety regulations, including the wearing of appropriate articles of clothing and safety equipment.
(c)
All employees, who as a condition of their job duties, are required to meet the public, shall present a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance. Clothing shall be the clothing one would normally observe in a business.
