In accordance with the provisions of Sections 1607 and 1608 of Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 (R.S. 38:1607
and 1608), the drainage district herein created shall be governed and controlled by five (5) commissioners to be known as
the board of commissioners, the first such Board to be composed of C. J. Ledoux, William H. Ledoux, Ralph W. Brockman, Jr.,
H. Charles Ledoux and Gerald W. Merritt, all of whom are landowners within the area comprising the district.
