§ 20-203. Title; powers.

Latest version.

The said waterworks district shall be known and is hereby designated as "Tanglewood-Pine Bayou Waterworks District of the Parish of Ouachita, Louisiana," and as thus created shall constitute a public corporation and political subdivision of the State of Louisiana. The district shall have all the powers and privileges granted by the constitution and statutes of this state as to such subdivisions, including the authority to incur debt, to issue bonds and to levy taxes and assessments.
