§ 20-268. Name; powers.

The mosquito abatement district hereby created shall be and is hereby designated as "Mosquito Abatement District No. I of the Parish of Ouachita, State of Louisiana," and as thus created, shall constitute a body corporate and political subdivision of the State of Louisiana, and as such, shall have all rights, powers and privileges granted and conferred by the constitution and statutes of the State of Louisiana, including the authority to levy taxes.
