§ 8-28. Definitions.

As used in this article, the following terms shall be defined as indicated.
(1)

Solid waste: All putrescible and non-putrescible waste, except body waste, including garbage, rubbish, ashes, dead animals, and market and industrial waste.

(2)

Franchise agent: Any commercial enterprise participating in the Ouachita Parish Solid Waste Collection Franchise Operations.

(3)

Commercial enterprise: Person, persons, companies, corporations, or any other enterprise engaged in the business of collection of solid waste for hire.
