§ 20-343. Powers.

Latest version.

The district shall have all powers granted to it under Louisiana law, including the power to levy a sales and use tax in accordance with Section 2721.6 of Title 33 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, as amended, and Article VI, Section 29 of the Constitution of the State of Louisiana of 1974, and to fund the proceeds thereof into bonds for the purpose for which the sales tax is authorized to be used.
