§ 2-13. Alcoholic beverage business—License fees.

  • There is hereby levied an annual license fee against all persons, corporations or partnerships who may engage in the business of selling, either retail or wholesale, offering for sale, serving, or consuming alcoholic beverages in the parish. The fees are as follows:

    (1)

    Beverages of low alcoholic content:

    (a)

    Class A beer retail dealer .....$ 75.00

    (b)

    Class B beer retail dealer (off-premises only) .....60.00

    (c)

    Class C beer retail dealer (3.2 per cent only) .....75.00

    (d)

    Class D beer retail dealer (off-premises, 3.2 per cent only .....60.00

    (e)

    Wholesale beer .....100.00

    (2)

    Beverages of high alcoholic content:

    (a)

    Class A manufacturing .....1,500.00

    (b)

    Class B wholesale liquor .....500.00

    (c)

    Class C liquor retail dealer .....500.00

    (d)

    Class D liquor retail dealer (off-premises only) .....500.00

    (3)

    Bottle club .....100.00

    (4)

    Restaurant establishment Class "R" license (includes on premises sale of light wine as defined in R.S. 26:72)—the license fee shall be in addition to the license fee required under subparagraphs (1) or (2) above .....30.00

    (5)

    Winery (Class W) .....50.00
