§ 7-82. Delta-Willett, Inc.

Whereas, W. A. Guy, doing business as W. A. Guy Waterworks System, is supplying water to the public, and particularly the residents of Lakeshore Subdivision; Extensions 1, 2, and 3, Lakeshore Subdivision; Bayou Shores; Extension No. 1, Bayou Shores; Broadmoor Place Addition; Balboa Drive Subdivision; and Magnolia Park Subdivision—Unit No. 1, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana; and

Whereas, W. A. Guy has agreed to sell and Delta-Willett, Inc., has agreed to buy the aforesaid waterworks system; and

Whereas, it is necessary that the owner of the water works system have authority to construct, operate and maintain its facilities.

W. A. Guy is granted such authority, if any, that may be required for the said Guy to assign and transfer the franchise and rights-of-way held by him for the construction, operation, and maintenance of a water works system in any or all of the subdivisions aforesaid.

The police jury of Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, hereby gives, grants, and conveys unto Delta-Willett, Inc., a Louisiana Corporation domiciled in the Parish of Ouachita, a servitude and franchise for the laying, construction, operation, maintenance, repair, replacement and removal of lines of pipe and mains together with appurtenant, facilities in and on the public places, servitudes, roads, streets, and alleys in Balboa Drive Subdivision (Plat Book 7, Page 37); Lakeshore Subdivision (Plat Book 8, Page 10); Extension No. 1, Lakeshore Subdivision (Plat Book 8, Page 30); Extension No. 2, Lakeshore Subdivision (Plat Book 8, Page 37); Extension No. 3, Lakeshore Subdivision (Plat Book 9, Page 16); Broadmoor Place Addition (Plat Book 7, Page 39); Bayou Shores (Plat Book 9, Page 25); Extension No. 1, Bayou Shores (Plat Book 10, Page 59); and Magnolia Park Subdivision—Unit No. 1 (Plat Book 8, Page 48), all being situated in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, in Township 18 North, Range 4 East.
