§ 9-11. Utility companies.

No electrical utility company licensed to do or doing business in the Parish of Ouachita shall install or connect service to any mobile home until a final permit is issued. No electrical utility company licensed to do or doing business in the Parish of Ouachita shall install or connect temporary service to any other structure unless a building permit has been issued nor install or connect permanent service until an inspection has been conducted by the state health officer or his duly authorized representative, and a final permit issued by the Ouachita Parish public works department. However, the electrical utility company shall not be liable for actions of the permit holder or installer of the individual sewage disposal system subsequent to the issuance of the building permit.
