§ 2-5. Same—Sale by wholesaler only when retailer's permit displayed, exceptions.

No wholesale dealer shall sell to any retail dealer any of the alcoholic beverages described in section 2-1 hereof, unless the retail dealer has posted in a conspicuous place in his establishment the permit required hereunder; provided, a wholesale dealer may sell such liquors to a retail dealer commencing a new business, or buying or taking over an established business for which a license and permit has been issued, if such retail dealer produces a certificate from the executive secretary-treasurer of the Ouachita Parish Police Jury dated not more than thirty-five (35) days prior to the sale of liquors, evidencing the application for a license or permit hereunder.
